The woman had been shot at yesterday, so naturally he didn't expect what he got when he unlocked her door. He had come in to see if she was ready for their flight home only to find a very strange sight. Temperance Brennan was sound asleep clutching onto a stuffed Eeyore. It was amusing at fight glimpse to see, but after a moment he found that it was kind of cute. The woman most saw as a cold scientist slept with a stuffed Eeyore.
Seeley Booth could not help but chuckle softly, but unfortunately for him not softly enough. The woman he had come to see as his partner began to shift in her sleep. Her eyes began to flutter open and she groaned as the light hit her. As she adjusted to the light of being awake she realized that Booth was standing there. Then she realized that she had her Eeyore in her arms and that Booth had also realized this.
Brennan looked at him sternly as she stood up. "If you tell anyone about this," She started, "I will kill you!" She spoke fiercely to him but soon realized her words were cut in meaning by her current attire. She was wearing a light blue tank top and a pair of rather short shorts and Booth just laughed at her before actually replying.
"Don't worry Bones I won't tell anyone that you sleep with a stuffed Eeyore," He said tauntingly. He took a great deal of pleasure in the angry look upon her face as well before telling her in a more serious tone that he wouldn't tell anyone. She smiled at him softly after that and he realized that all the stress of this case must have really gotten her. "Hey Bones our flight leaves at 3:00. Could you please get ready?" His question had been asked softly and she nodded and he turned around and left the room.
