Ah, All Hallows Eve, time for tricks and treats once again. Sirius Black's all time favorite holiday. Remus was always so nervous around this time of year, his friends always thought it was funny to trick him rather than to treat him.

"Remus, you're too easy to trick. Here we are, telling you we're going to trick you, and yet you still get scared just as easily. You really should work on that, mate."

Yeah, yeah, yeah...they said that every year. And every year it was the same. Remus hoped that the trick didn't cause anyone any pain this year.

This year would be different, Remus would trick them too, and they would never know until it was too late.

As the night went on, Halloween approached more quickly than expected. Remus had to work fast if his joke was going to be a success.

While the other three boys were out of the Gryffindor common room, working on their tricks for Halloween, Remus, knowing they wouldn't be back for many hours to come, decided his joke would be to change all the Halloween decorations that were in their dormitory, into Valentine's decorations, just to throw them off.

After hanging some pink colored ribbon from the ceiling, Remus slumped down on his four poster. Sighing heavily, he thought how stupid his trick was. He'd never tried to trick them, and now that he was attempting it, he understood why that was.

When Sirius, James, and Peter returned to the dormitory after a long night of spooking, they found the room to be completely decorated in pink and red hearts, tiny little cupids fluttering around the room.

Sirius, being very tired, and not realizing that he was about to lay right down in to Remus' bed, did just that. At that very moment, when Sirius laid down, putting his arms around Remus, not realizing what he was doing, one of the Cupid's shot Sirius with his arrow, and Sirius looked at Remus, a new found affection growing in his heart.

"Hey guys, lets not trick Remy here this year, look at all the decorating he's done for us!"
"But Sirius, it's Halloween--"
Sirius looked at Remus, who had awoken by now, and in his best "sweet" voice said, "Remus, my love, what would you say to me asking, 'Can I keep you?'...hmm?" Sirius batted his eyelashes at Remus. Remus picked up his pillow and smashed him over the head with it. "You've got to be drunk Sirius."
Sirius smiled and hugged Remus. All Remus could do was lay there.
