Stupid Stupid Stupid. I mean really! Sometimes she wondered how she had managed to make it out of her 20's. She was always the last to realize she was in danger so why should tonight be any different? Halfway down the dark alley she had finally looked up from her PDA. Sure this was the most direct route back home but as she glanced around at her surroundings an extra block or two wouldn't have killed her despite her poor shoe choice. Blisters would have been a small price to pay.
As her eyes adjusted to the darkness she became aware that she wasn't alone. There were at least two other men in the alley with her and she was pretty sure it wasn't for a Kiwanis club meeting.
"Well well well. Pete have you ever seen such a lovely lady down here before?" The taller of the two addressed his partner.
"Certainly not. She must be lost. As good citizens of this fair city we should offer our assistance."
Only Chloe was pretty sure that her idea of assistance and theirs had some major differences. She inched back as them approached. Trying to fish around in her hand bag for the can of Mace she carried. The minute he fingers closed around it she felt her heart start to slow down. If she could just remain calm for a few more moments she was sure she would be able to get away. A few hundred feet and she would be on the crowded thoroughfare. That was all she needed. She felt her hope snuffed out though as the faces of her would be neighbors came into the light. Chloe knew what evil looked like. These men had long ago graduated from kicking puppies. She felt the icy cold grip of fear pull at her. She needed to stay calm if she was going to be able to get away from them.
She was trying to come up with a plan when they suddenly rushed her. She barely had time to pull the mace out. She heard the tall one let out a string of obscenities and felt his grip loosen. At least she had been able to hit one of them. She felt a small smile tug at her face. Chloe Sullivan did not go down without a fight. That was her last thought as the butt of a gun hit her in the temple. She tried to fight the darkness as it pulled her down but it was no use. Her last thought was that she hadn't even called for help.
She awoke a short time later to a pounding headache. She could feel hands on her skin. Checking her pulse. She tried to remain as still as possible. She didn't want her attackers to know she was awake. Think Think Think. How the hell was she going to get out of this? She briefly wondered why her attacker was being so gentle. She was suddenly aware that she was no longer in the alley. She was in a bed. A very very soft bed.
"I know you're awake." His voice was deep and dark. Chloe's eyes popped open.
"Oh." Was all she could squeak out? Her fear had vanished and replacing it was a pulsing heat that made her think of late nights and candles.
"Yeah, Oh, you know this wouldn't happen it you would just do what I tell you." His voice continued to send shivers up her spine.
"Really? And what exactly did I ignore this time?" Chloe purred the words at him. Her headache already fading in the background, replaced by a cloud of lust.
"If you would just let Alfred drive you around I wouldn't have to keep saving you."
"Perhaps but them we would miss out of rescue sex." She grabbed at his cowl and pulled him down towards her. "It is even better that make up sex." She let out a tiny giggle as he growled lightly against her neck before rolling them so that she was on top of them.
"And would that be why you wandered down a dark alley all by yourself?" his lips curled up in a smirk.
Chloe reached down and removed his cowl. "Well how else am I supposed to get some quality time with my husband?"
He pulled her down. His lips crashing against hers. They fought for dominance until she finally pulled back to catch her breath. "That is an excellent point Mrs. Wayne."
