A/N: This is based off of the Gus: The Theatre Cat/Growtiger's Last Stand part of the musical Cats and the source material for that musical, T.S. Elliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats.
You call me Tobi, but what for?
My name as I should have told you before
Is Madara Uchiha! You'll find relief
As I co-founded the leaf,
Such title and rites taken
By Hashirama Senju.
But I was in my prime,
A brandisher of menace and skill sublime,
And two of the first to achieve the Mangekyo Sharingan.
But my greatest deviation
To devestate the fire nation,
Was the night I released the nine-tails.
A plan without fail,
Or so I thought from the intervention
Of Minato Namikaze, the fourth hokage.
The night I made history
With no such mystery
Releasing the nine-tails to destroy the leaf.
And I'll do it again, I'll do it again!
A crack across the serene night sky
Brought clamor in the street.
There was heard a collective cry
Of panic in those streets.
In the distance, an orange figure
Was growling viciously.
The troops ran out, terror in their hearts
To see the dreaded fox spirit,
Thought long sealed away.
Kushina Uzumaki, jinchiriki that she was,
Possessed within her this spirit
Now released somehow.
The wife of Sarutobi, third hokage,
Had thought to take her someplace
Safe for when she would give birth.
For then the seal would be weakest
And in that place safe from release,
But I intervened and let the beast out!
Now the leaf would be wiped from the earth.
But then came the yellow flash,
Minato Namikaze, husband to the dame,
And the fourth hokage;
On Lord Gamabunta he came
And challenged me on those front lines.
The nine-tails decimated and rent the troops in two,
A child cried in the night, "Not mother and father too!"
I said to the hokage, "Your time is due,"
And he shouted in reply, "There is much that I must do!"
"You will not decimate us, I will give my life to protect
This beloved village, you wretch!"
With my Mangekyo Sharingan from amaterasu to tsukuyomi
No man could have a chance,
Not even that hokage.
But he teleported and pulled tricks from his sleeve,
And took the nine-tails in an intricate weave;
Then off I ran, a defeat on my end.
A forbidden jutsu he needed to try,
The Dead Demon Consuming Seal,
A shinigami to command.
Minato sealed the nine-tailed fox
Into his infant son.
Kushina weakened to the point of death
Tried to restrain the fox.
They sealed their chakras,
A future farewell to give,
To their little Naruto.
But once again will I strain,
My master plan to sustain;
To give the world Pain.
And once again, will I take my stand
Against the leaf village and that Naruto.
