A/N:Yay, my first one-shot. This was written when I experienced a difficult time. Hope you guys enjoy it. Reviews are lovely.

It just wouldn't open.

Try as she might, it wouldn't budge. She sighed wearily, brushing aqua bangs out of her amethyst eyes. Today just wasn't her day. First, she was sent to be the healer (as usual) on a mission with the Spirit Detectives. But, somehow, Koenma left out one minute detail…these weren't ordinary demons. All they seemed to care for was blood…and women. Thankfully she didn't die, only a couple of minor gashes here and there.

Second, everyone was in a particular mood on this mission. Yusuke and Kuwabara were at each other's throats every second. Kurama split them up most of the time with no help from Hiei, who simply watched those two in slight amusement. She sighed once more and winced when her hand brushed against a somewhat deep gash on her left cheek. If those two buffoons had been paying attention, the demons wouldn't have given this injury to her. Thankfully, Hiei was close by and easily disposed of her attackers.

So, after a long, hard day at work, all she wanted to do was go to her apartment in Ningenkai, take a refreshing bubble bath, listen to some soothing music, and go to sleep. But this rather large piece of metal was hindering her from doing so. She growled under her breath as she pushed against the door, eventually shoving the door with all of her weight. It still wouldn't budge. Tears of irritation began to form in her eyes. Angrily, she summoned her bat, intent on bashing the door until it opened. Just before she hit the door, a hand entered into her line of vision. She glared at the hand and then at the owner of the hand. Crimson eyes stared coldly back at her.

"What the hell are you doing?" he demanded.

"This stupid piece of scrap metal refuses to open, so I will make it," she retorted back. A deadpanned look was her answer. She continued to glare at him, eventually beginning to calm down. She finally lowered the bat to her side before sighing heavily. "The door won't open no matter how hard I push it," she said weakly.

Hiei studied her for a moment and then glanced at the door. "Onna, the sign says 'pull'."
