She couldn't help but feel the need to touch him. To kiss him. To hold him. Of course, she couldn't have him. Of course not. He was with someone else. And that someone else was her best friend. She agreed to meet him at Meltokio's chapel.
She sits on the front row seats, waiting for him to show up. She hears footsteps coming from behing her so she turns around and sees him. He smiles at her with an amazing smile that makes her heart flutter. He walks towards her and sits down.
"Hey you. How have you been?" he asks her. She smiles sweetly.
"I've been great. And you?" He smiles an even bigger grin than before.
"I've been awesome! All sorts of things have been happening and they are all good!"
He rants on and on for a good half an hour before he stands up. He doesn't realise how much he is hurting her but he didn't know this. She needs to see him one last time before she says goodbye.
"I need to get going now." He starts walking away before he turns around one last time.
"It would mean a lot to Colette if you would come to our wedding as the maiden of honour," he says before waving goodbye and walking out the heavy chapel doors.
Sheena sits there. Crying silent tears that weren't meant to show.
"I think it's for the best that I don't show up Lloyd..." she whispers to herself.
"I love you Lloyd. Goodbye..."
She gets up and runs away from Meltokio. Runs away from everything. She runs away from her beloved, stupid swordsman, Lloyd Irving.
