Where is he? Thought Lily Evans, as she waited for her boyfriend at the astronomy tower. He wanted to tell her something so he told her to meet him there.

There's nothing but the rain
No footsteps on the ground
I'm listening, but there's no sound

She looked around. And tried to listen to hear if someone was coming. But that plan was ruined once it began to rain

Isn't anyone trying to find me?
Won't somebody come take me home
It's a damn cold night
Trying figure out this life

Then she heard someone coming as she cast a charm around her to keep off the rain. "Is that you, sweetheart?"

Then the door opened but her boyfriend wasn't the boy to walk through it. It was James Potter.

"What are you doing here Potter?

"I would ask you the same thing"

"I came here to meet my boyfriend"

"Really?"

"Yes"

Lily snorted but despite of it she blushed

"Oh and speaking of your 'boyfriend' I just saw him kissing Rita"

Lily looked at him in disbelief. No it wasn't true. It couldn't be. They had been falling apart lately …………

As they walked through the charms corridor, lily saw what James saw. Her boyfriend was kissing Rita. They looked like they were glued to each other.

"no" lily gasped. She just stood there. So he led me to the tower to break up with me……The bloody bastard! At thinking this Lily grabbed her wand and was about to hex both of them

But then James grabbed and led her back to the astronomy tower.

"Lily calm down" James soft voice said

She looked at him. With those eyes, those warm hazel eyes.

Just them her eyes began to water and she sobbed silently, as she leaned onto James strong build.

Then she hugged him and she looked up at him. he was taller than her by a few inches but then she stood on her toes and kissed him lightly on the lips.

The rain was pelting down harder than ever but none of it mattered

James broke the kiss and said "I love you Lily"

"I love you too James"

Slowly they began to descend to the Gryffindor common room and when they got there both of them sat in the couch near the dying embers in the fireplace.

Then as they began to fall asleep James whispered

"Don't worry Lily, I'll always be there for you…
