Hi ya people! So I'm back on this page with another ND story. I will eventually finish my others when I figure out what to do. If anyone has ideas I'm listening. Any idea works, it'll get my brain going so please help if you'd like.
Okay enough that, back to this story. This will have two characters not on the list. Dave Evans and Burt Reynolds (Least I think those are their names if I'm wrong let me know) are the two gentlemen George and Bess date in the hardcover books.
So those two, Ned Nickerson, Bess, George and Nancy are my focus. Plus my two own characters for story. Meet Samantha Burke and Alexandra Evans, Burt and Dave's nine year old cousins.
This is my prologue, I'll explain it further on, just something to spark your interest.
"I should have known better!" Dave yelled as he angrily kicked an empty soda can lying on the sidewalk.
"Take it easy Dave…we will find them…I promise you" Nancy said soothingly as she stroked his left shoulder.
Dave responded by giving the strawberry blonde teenager a very vicious and very cold look.
"We should have known better Burt" he said after a long minute of awkward silence. He turned his gaze to his friend and the young man nodded.
"Yeah….always a stupid mystery to solve when Miss Nancy Drew is around…we should have known Sammy and Alex were never safe long as she was around" he replied. His voice was as cold as Dave's expression.
"Hey, that's not fair you guys….we are a team and we will find the girls…its not Nancy's fault!" Ned yelled sidling up to his girlfriend. He put his arm protectively around her shoulders.
Both men only folded their arms. "Course you'd take her side Nickerson….but then Nancy is more important all of us…." Burt replied.
"Ned is right Burt! Nancy isn't at fault and fighting is only slowing us down!" George yelled to her date.
"Your right George" Burt said, with a bit nicer tone. "But I refuse to work with Drew on this one…" he added quickly.
"Me too…come on Bess…we can find Alex without Ned or Nancy's help" Dave spoke up.
The cousins then found themselves stuck in the middle with Ned and Nancy on one side and Burt and Dave on the other.
"What do we do?" Bess whispered to her cousin. George didn't have an answer for her.
So the girls will go missing some time in the story. Now, I just have to think of a mystery….Prepare yourselves for lots of filler chapters till then but I will hopefully work this all out. Suggestions are helpful on this story as well.
Oh, If anyone read the hardcover books can he or she tell me what book it is Dave locks Bess in a prison cell? The six were snooping in pairs and he did it as joke. It backfires cuz Bess finds something in cell. That is about all I remember sorry for vague summary of book.
