One day as Adult Link was walking through the forest he saw Mido running toward him.

"LINK, WAIT UP!" thump Link turned around and saw Mido laying flat on his face. Getting up Mido turned pink and said "I tripped over a blade of grass." Link just rolled his eyes and kept walking.

"NO! Don't leave yet I have to tell you something." Mido yelled.

"What do you want?" Link said calmly still walking away. Mido held on to his arm and started whining "no, NO don't leave." then burst into tears.

Link started to feel bad and finally said "Fine, I'll stay for a few more minutes." Mido immediately stopped crying and said "Ok I wrote a song about you." Before Link got a change to say anything Mido started singing loudly and off key.

"You remind me of an annoying little lad. Every time I think of him it makes me saaaaaad, because he disappeared and he probably lives in a tent. Everybody thought his brain was made of…."

"Cement?" Link asked.

"No silly, cheese." Mido replied happily "Sooo?"

"Sooo…what?" Link asked drearily.

"Sooo what do you think of it. Is it too long, too short, too…anything else?" Mido sighed "You hated it didn't you."

"No not at……yeah…..it sucked." Link said a little too loudly. Suddenly the forest got quiet. Too quiet. The Kokiri Burst out of their homes with pitchforks and torches.

"You're gonna die, you're gonna die." Mido chanted mockingly.

"Oh crap, their gonna ruin my hair," Link said quietly to himself. "I can't hurt them they're my friends, but they don't know that they're my friends. I'm going to have to run into the Lost Woods. Curse the Lost Woods! I can't remember which way to go. Oh well here it goes." Link burst into the forest maze and the sound of Saria's song echoed against the walls. He took a wild guess and ran through one of the entrances. The sound of Saria's song grew louder then before and rang in his ears. He knew he was going in the right direction. He turned again and the song was still getting louder. He heard foot steps and got nervous and ran through an entrance. Saria's song disappeared from around him and got replaced with angry Kokiri cries. Link dove into the crowd and got out the other side. He whistled and Epona came running in. He jumped onto his horse and together they galloped away. Link promised himself never to go back there.

"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!" Navi screamed irritated.

"I was in the forest and Mido sang me a song then the whole forest was after me then I escaped." Link said all in one breath.

"OH NO YOU DID'NT! You did not just try to lie to me, did you."

"Oh crap."

And he never saw the light of day again.
