Jonathon Kent sighed as he reached for his car jack. 'Of all the times to have a flat tire, why now?' he asked himself. He was lucky that it had occured right in front of his home but still angry about it.

Just as he was about to place the jack underneath the truck, Clark walked up. He was only three, but very curious about the world around him. So when he saw his father kneeling next to the family truck, his curiosity rose. 'I wonder what daddy is doing?' he asked himself. 'Ooh, maybe I can help him!'

Jonahthon glanced up at his son. "Hey kiddo, what are you doing?" The little boy just stood there, smiling at his father. Jonathon smiled back. "Daddy, what you doing?" he asked. Though the Kent's had only found him three weeks earlier, Clark proved to be incredibly intelligent. He was picking up on English extremely well. "I've got to change this tire, son." he said while pointing to the flattened tire on the ground. The little boy nodded, seeming to understand. "To get it up," Jonathon continued, "I have to use this jack to lift it up the truck." Clark nodded again.

As Jonathon tried to jack up the truck, Clark burst out "Daddy, I can help!" Before Jonathon had a chance to say anything, Clark grabbed the truck's front bumper, effectively lifting both front wheels off the ground. Jonathon jumped back, but then realized what Clark had done and chuckled. He still hadn't gotten use to the boy's unhuman strength. As he moved back towards the truck, he spoke. "Clark, your a lifesaver, you know that?" The little grinned at his father, happy that he could help do something with him for once.
