DISCLAIMER: Do I really have to repeat myself?
AUTHOR'S NOTE: I saw several people writing diary fanfics that I believed were inaccurate. Now, I'm going to write one. I'm going to write diary entries for Harry, Ron, and Hermione and put all three in one chapter. Then, when I get more reviews, I will make three more in one chapter and that will be the diary entries for another day.
Harry's Journal:
Dear Journal,
My name is Harry James Potter. My two best friends and I have decided to start keeping journals/diaries of our everyday lives, so that's why I'm writing right now.
Today was not very eventful. Neville messed up in potions again and Hermione got in trouble for helping him. Snape is very mean to all of the Gryffindors. Malfoy called Hermione a mudblood again today and Ron and I both pulled out our wands and threatened to curse him. Hermione told us not to do that because we'd get in trouble. I think she really looks out for us by keeping us out of trouble and always being there when we need her (except for that one time in our second year when we needed her help but she had been petrified so it wasn't her fault that she couldn't help us).
It looks like Ron has already finished writing in his journal. We started at the same time. I guess he must not have had very much to say. Well, everyone else in the dormitory wants to go to sleep so I guess I'd better finish this up so they can turn out the lights.

Ron's Journal:
Dear Journal,
My name is Ron Weasley and I'm not going to call you a diary because it sounds too girly. Harry, Hermione, and I have decided to start keeping diaries/journals of our everyday lives and so that's why I'm writing now. I don't have very much to say tonight because I'm very tired. I'll just finish this now because I think this idea is stupid. I never understood what the point of a journal really was.

Hermione's Diary:
Dear Diary,
My name is Hermione Granger. My friends and I have decided to start keeping diaries/journals of our everyday lives. Well, I'm the only one keeping a "diary," Ron and Harry said that "diaries" were too girly for boys so they were going to write "journals." It doesn't really matter, diaries and journals are the same thing! Oh well. I don't see why I should keep going on about that. It's a very minor detail.
Nothing really happened today. Neville messed up in potions again so I tried to help him but Snape caught me whispering instructions to him so he took away ten points from Gryffindor because I was helping Neville.
Malfoy called me a mudblood again. He needs to shut up! It's not my fault I'm so different from everyone else! Harry and Ron pulled out their wands and threatened to curse Malfoy but I told them not to because they would get into trouble. I don't like it when anyone gets into trouble unless they deserve it and if anyone deserves to get into trouble, it's Malfoy. Harry and Ron would have gotten into worse trouble for cursing Malfoy than Malfoy would have for calling me a mudblood.
Well, the girls want to go to sleep so I guess I'd better finish writing for tonight.
