Pansy sat down across from Su in the library, who was completely and totally ignoring her.
Pansy did not like being ignored. Not to say that she wasn't surprised that she was being ignored by Su, after what had happened it really only made sense, but that still didn't mean that she liked it.
Pansy allowed Su to have another moment of silence before she began speaking.
"You can't ignore me forever, you realize," Pansy said.
All Su did was give "mmph" sound and hunched more into her book, almost using it as a shield, which Pansy found ridiculously adorable for some odd reason.
Pansy sighed and placed her hands near Su's book. She didn't move away, which Pansy took to be a good thing.
"I'm sorry," Pansy said, honesty in her words. "I shouldn't have denied us. I keep pressuring you about coming out, but I didn't take the opportunity when I had it. I should have. I mean, it was Tracey. That girl loves everyone and her dog."
She caught a quick flash of Su's smile, though it was gone just as fast.
"I love you, Su," Pansy said softly. "And I'll do anything to prove it."
Su sighed, and Pansy was glad that she had finally gotten through to her girlfriend. "You don't need to come out to prove you love me, and in truth, it isn't that. It's just that I realized in that moment I wanted to come out, just as you realized you didn't. Neither one of us are wrong in our decisions. It's just two different ones." She closed her book, put it down, and stretched her hands across the table to clasp Pansy's. "And I'll wait till you're ready, Pans, and I'll be right beside you when you do."
Pansy gave Su a watery smile. "Thank you."
