You're so hypnotizing
Could you be the devil, could you be an angel?
You're so hypnotizing
Feels like I am floating, leaves my body glowing
I glanced at my watch as I kept pushing my legs to go faster. I felt the blood coursing through my blood as I enjoyed the rush of blood to my face. I jogged on the spot at the end of the road as I waited for a car to pass before continuing. Eminem was blaring through my headphones as I continued running. Somedays I liked peace when I was running, but other times I liked listening to music. I loved running, and I would often do it in the mornings or afternoons, while the air was slightly humid. Just as I was humming along to the music in my ears, I almost got the wind knocked out of me as I slammed into what seemed like a brick wall. Startled, I fell back and cried out in pain as I felt my ankle jerk.
"What are you made of, stone or something?" I asked angrily at whoever it was that I had knocked into. As I looked up, I gazed into the most beautiful cobalt blue eyes I had ever seen. I was face to face with someone who was so beautiful he could've been an angel. His jet black hair was a startling contrast from his pale skin. His body was so magnificent, it could have been carved out of ice. He was so perfect, it was unnatural but at the same time there was almost something sinister about him, like he was a demon in an angel's body.
"You okay?" he asked as he held his hand out for me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I began to feel extremely embarrassed - did he just see me gawking at him?
"I'm fine." I said, ignoring his hand. I attempted to stand up myself but I gasped at the sharp pain. I would've fallen again if his strong arms hadn't caught me.
"You don't look okay." he said. "Here, let me see." He bent down and lifted my sweatpants as he examined my ankle. I held onto his shoulder for support. I caught the sweet smell of his expensive cologne as my body pressed against his.
"Doesn't look good." he said. "I think it's sprained. We should probably get you to a hospital."
"No, I'm not going to a hospital!" I snapped. "I don't have the time or the energy to waste three hours arguing with annoying nurses!"
"Well, you sprained it pretty badly so how about we stop at my house? It's just around the corner." he said. I reluctantly agreed as I limped on my right leg, using his shoulder for support. On normal circumstances, I would've never gone with him but for some strange reason, even though he screamed danger, I felt safe with him.
"Here it is." Damon said as his house came into view.
"You live here?" I asked. He nodded, as if living in a 17th century Victorian mansion was the most casual thing in the world.
"Wow." I said, awestruck.
"Come on, let's get you inside." he told me, guiding me through the front door.
Authors note: Hey guys, well this is my first time writing a fanfiction. I just love the Vampire Diaries and this if the first time I'm uploading any one of my stories. I'd love to hear your comments and please review. If I get enough reviews, I will continue the story.
