"I love you Master." Whispered Anakin as he used the force to push Obi-Wan into one of the escape pods and closed the door, activating the ejection sequence.
Obi-Wan had no time to react. 'Anakin, you can't do this!' he cried through their link.
'Obi-Wan you are the best master one could ever have. I am sorry I could not make you proud. Goodbye… Father!'
'Anakin! I AM proud of you. Please I can't lose you. Anakin!' the explosion shook the escape pod and Obi-Wan felt Anakin's last words through the force.
'Thank you father. I'll always be with you. I believe now and I am not afraid anymore.'
The sudden change in the force shook Obi-Wan to his very core. He understood now that Anakin had been the chosen one. He could feel the peace in the force, for Anakin had finally joined it, filled with faith and peace. He was a child of light.
'Just like you, Padawan mine.' He felt Qui-Gonn whispered to him through the force.
'You were always my child of light. Who better than you to show Anakin the way? Live well my padawan, you've fulfilled your destiny'
Tears streamed down Obi-Wan's cheeks. He finally felt at peace. He remembered Anakin's last word and his ever present smile. There is no death. There is only the force.
