Title: "Tyzonn's Gift"
>"Tyzonn, you didn't have to go to all this trouble for me." Ronny said as they laid out under the stars on a blanket. "I've already had a pretty great birthday. I got lots of nice presents and I got to spend it with my friends." She smiled at him and then bit her lip. "But I didn't get a present from you, Tyzonn."
"Oh, right, I wanted to wait until we were alone before I gave your gift." Tyzonn sat up and produced a small velvet box to her. "I know jewelry is not your thing…"
Ronny took the box from him and opened it. Inside was a clear glass heart filled with a silvery liquid.
"Tyzonn…what is…it's beautiful…" Ronny gasped, her eyes sparkling. "What…what's the liquid?"
"Part of me." He replied. "I filled it with some of me."
Ronny was confused, but then she understood. The heart was filled with liquid mercury…part of Tyzonn's own body. "You…you put yourself in the heart?"
He nodded. "I wanted to give you a gift unlike anything else in the world." He smiled. "Something unique."
Ronny was touched. "Tyzonn, it's beautiful…thank you so much." She smiled as he put the necklace around her neck. "I'll treasure it."
"So, Ronny…did you get everything you wanted?" Tyzonn asked as she admired the necklace. "Did your wish come true?"
Ronny thought about it for a moment. She was a Hero, she had a good career, she had wonderful friends and an even more wonderful boyfriend. Her life was perfect. "Yeah…it did."
Tyzonn smiled and lay back against the blanket and Ronny rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. He smiled.
It doesn't get any better than this. He mused silently, looking up to the sky and smiling.
