Victoria feels out of place, but when her sister is captured by pirates she finds out that the family she has had her entire life are not her real family. Will a handsome rugged pirate give her the adventure shes been yearning for and help her find her true destiny. Jack/OC

Prologue

You know those times when you don't know what's real, who you really are or what you destiny is.

That's my whole life. I feel out of place. Alone even when I'm not.

I want my life to change. I want freedom, adventure.

But I guess that won't be possible. Especially for a girl like me.

I live in a small town called Port Royal; I live with my sister and father in a very expensive house. I don't do much as I am a woman and in today's society being a woman means little to everyone. We have no freedom of speech and the only thing we seem to be good for is getting married and having children. But I want more than that, I want to travel the ocean and explore new worlds that I have never seen before.

I guess I'm just another girl with an impossible dream.
