Originally this was going to be a summary for a full-length story I jotted down late one night, but I forgot exactly where I was going with it, so I turned it into a "Fifty-Five Fiction" form instead.

In the end, Sam sold his soul for a bag of peanut M&Ms. He could tell he'd surprised the demon with his request, though he was not refused. Sam was uncertain whether it was out of suspicion or spite that the hellspawn gave him the full ten years.

For Dean he could wait.
