In the room
Her death was told
Painstakingly Numb
Fiery Cold
Run down halls
Crying with fear
No one to hold
No one to hear
Crash through walls
Slam traitor doors
No more lies
Release all horrors
Wrote a letter
Red ink smears
Of troubled lives
Page stained tears
I lay me down
My soul to rest
Thinking of
Another's distress
As I close my eyes in bliss
I sigh a prayer upon my lips
"As we have laid down to sleep
I pray the lord
Our souls to keep
We shall die
We shall not wake
I pray the lord
Our souls to take"
