"hi" the shaking in the square faced man's hands caught my attention first, I smiled at him, I took his hand in mine.
"Hello" I raised an eyebrow and tilted my chin to the left, I let go of his hand and it dropped to his side.
"I guess we need a drink?" I grinned and hooked my arm with the mans as we walked along the pier, he seemed to relax with my touch and so did I. I led him into the bar and ordered two martinis, the guy brought them over and with a wink I placed my wallet back into my pocket.
"I ruin so many people" he said, I looked over at him, the tears in his old eyes.
"I would love to reassure you, but I know you too well." I smiled at him and brought my hand up to cup his chin, "But you have changed many of us for good"
His head dropped as he pulled my hand away.
"You know you find her, and look after her, so don't worry." I smiled and lifted his chin up with my index finger, "Then our girl's safe, she's with him, he'll look after her." I watched him wince,
"You will always love her won't you?" I almost whispered the words and wiped the tear from his cheek,
"I can't stay long" He said turning back to his drink and taking a sip, he winced and I could do nothing but laugh.
"I love you" I laughed and he looked back at me, I cupped his chin once more, bringing my lips close to him.

I kissed him.

I pulled back after the short time and turned on my seat to leave, he hooked his arm through mine and we walked back to the place we met.
"Don't dwell on the past" I said and he nodded, "And come again soon"
He nodded and turned to walk away, I watched him go.
"Goodbye, my Doctor" I whispered, and I heard, in the air, the small whisper of. Goodbye Jack.
