When Haruhi thought of marriage, it was only because Tamaki can't ever keep his mouth closed on the subject and his fantasies that revolve around the very subject. If Tamaki rambled about the Host Club and their romantic relationships (which, to Haruhi, seemed like nearly eighty percent of the Club's behind-the-scenes conversations), he would always somehow relate relationships with marriage, even if it wasn't ever a logical place to jump into from where he was rambling from.

The parallels of Mommy and Daddy with Tamaki and Kyouya were used in trying to explain inter-Host relations in the most confusing, long winded way possible. Kyouya never really tried to get a word in edgewise, wisely knowing that Tamaki wouldn't listen. Honey and Mori acted as if Tamaki's ramblings meant nothing (which was true), always using the time when Tamaki lectured about the idea of romance and love fueling a wedding to do something more productive in that time.

Haruhi paid the closest attention to Tamaki because she felt pity for him, not because she actually cared what he was talking about at the moment. Hikaru and Kaoru stifled giggles when Haruhi bluntly asked a question that destroyed Tamaki's logic. The blond would get flustered and backpedal to try and explain a concept with a whole different outlook, which contradicted his first point entirely. Kyouya would make an effort to not take note of Tamaki's gaping holes in his logic, just because mentioning more holes would cause more unnecessary chaos. Honey, with cake in his mouth, would distract everyone with mentions of wanting something to drink and then the sheer amounts of insanity would die down, just a little.

Haruhi let a sigh escape her lips and tried not to focus on Tamaki, who hadn't given up on his marriage tirade and had brought out a dry erase board in which he started drawing really creepily accurate pie charts about nothing important. She wasn't the one to think of what would become of her life if she were to get married. Marriage and all activities related to the big day don't really mean much to Haruhi in the moment. She knew there were more important things to think about as a student at a prestigious school like Ouran. Most importantly, she needed to learn how to ignore Tamaki's mindless rambling without crushing every bit of self esteem the poor boy had.

Sometimes, she wondered how she could deal with this headache inducing nonsense daily. Then again, she wouldn't have it any other way.

A/N: Don't mind me, just writing some silly, possibly OOC and cheesily ended Ouran gen fic. Hopefully, despite a lack of a beta, it turned out okay.
