Authors Note
Hey guys I would just like to apologize for any grammatical errors I typed this out late at night and had to do it in a hurry, but I did do a quick sweep and I think I caught all the big ones.
It was a quiet evening at the London Institute, well as quiet as it could get with Will and Gabriel under the same roof.
"Come on Lightworm I know you can do better than that" yelled Will.
"Of course I can Herondale but, I didn't want to hurt your pride by beating you" replied Gabriel.
Meanwhile the other occupants of the institute sat and watched the boys, amused while they talked amongst themselves.
"How long so you think this will go on for" questioned Sophie?
"Knowing them it could last all night" Charlotte answered her.
"Even when one of them wins the other will be convinced that they cheated and demand a rematch" chimed in Tessa.
"Those boys are as untamed as wild animals, you don't see nice civilized gentlemen such as Gideon and Jem making fools of themselves" Jessamine said, looking up from her book.
"What about Henry" Jem asked her?
"Why he's to busy playing with his gadgets to realize anything that's going on around him."
As if to prove her point she pointed in his general and when everyone looked there he sat fool around with some new trinket completely oblivious of the fact that they were speaking about him.
"I believe that I will retire for the evening" Gideon said getting up from his chair.
"Yes, it is getting rather late isn't it" Jem said rising up and offering Tessa his hand.
As they made their way towards the door Cecily stopped by the boys and said "We are retiring for the night why don't you to as well, it's getting rather late."
"We will go to bed once I win" Gabriel gritted out.
"For once a Lightworm is partially correct we will go to bed once I win" agreed Will.
"I give up" Cecily exclaimed, "it is just an arm-wrestling match for goodness sakes!"
