A/N: So this is just a short poem on a character from The Outsiders. I was in the mood of writing poems, so I wrote a poem. What a surprise. I hope you like. ;p

The Story of a Boy
He may not have done the best of things
But he did the best that he could bring
He put our lives before himself
Even though he was not in the best of health
He was more than just a broken boy
He brought us love, hope, joy
He had a gift that I can't explain
Which made him more than someone plain
He was more than my best friend
He was my brother and that fact will never end
He always knew just what to say
Which kept us together day after day
He never complained when you brought out your feelings
No matter what of which he was dealing
He always knew just how to act
And that is just the plain, hard fact
He was more than just a broken boy
He brought us love, hope, joy
The memory of him will never fade
We will always remember Johnny Cade
