A/N: Hello! A while ago I read Beautiful Darkness, the second book in the Caster Chronicles or Beautiful Creatures series, and I fell in love with it. I loved Ethan, Liv, Link, and Ridley's story of how they ventured through the Tunnels to get to the Great Barrier. I just thought it was amazing, and I thought it deserved more attention. This isn't fanfiction, it is simply a poem about their journey. The idea started when I said "The Wayward, the Keeper, the Incubus, and the Siren" to myself, and I loved the ring to it. So I wrote it as a poem, and I am very proud of how it turned out. It does get a little complicated, and I doubt that anyone will fully understand every part of it. But, I hope you enjoy it!
At the start there was a Keeper
Pure as books and tea can be
A ragtag drummer and a Mortal
They started out as only three
Down the path and in the Tunnels
Through the doors of that Exile
The Caster girl, the Incubus
Just a poor boy in denial
But feeling change like the wheel turns
And what was right is lonely
A choice between the sweet unknown
With his wounded heart that she can see
The wizard had lain out his garden
For the three- well four to pace
The kind old one you'd never guess
Would guide this wide yet narrow place
The darkness clouds above the Blood Pack
The snake is slithering 'round the tree
When Sirens screaming in the night
Licks her pop and saves the three
The determined carry on
Although the cat's eye makes one sore
The lollipop controls the chain
And what was once three now is four
The winds are changing; it's in the air
The darkened mist begins to swirl
The gold eyed Caster soon appears
And leaves the Siren a Mortal girl
A little color changing ball
Is led by the dead mysterious one
And for the one that he loved most
He carries on a Wayward son
Then there comes the wooden door
And the rocky waves lull deeper
Now comes the time for sacrifice
And she is no longer a Keeper
Here lies the girl in blazing gold
While the Eighteenth Moon shines bright
For there is Darkness in us all
Even the one from that Archlight
The story goes: The Order broke
The only tale's the one of her
But the two bites on his neck
Beg viciously to tell another
Who knows what will start anew
Only the deep and dark blue see
Just the Wayward, the Keeper, the Incubus, and the Siren
This is their amazing journey.
