Warmth
"It's so cold here!" Lars Alexandersson exclaimed, as he shivered. He and Alisa Boskonovitch were traveling and they somehow ended up in a snowy place. It was all Lars' idea for them to travel. He wanted Alisa to see more of the world. But then she wanted to go see some snowy mountains. Lars had tried to talk her out of it but she really wanted to see the snowy mountains. "Even if I have six sweaters, a thick jacket, four pants, gloves, six pairs of socks, and huge boots on I'm still cold!" Lars said in a shaky voice. Alisa was walking right beside him. She didn't feel cold at all because she wasn't human, she was a robot.
"It's so beautiful here, Lars. What was this white stuff called again?" Alisa asked, as she kneeled down on the ground to get a handful of snow. Lars stopped walking and turned to look at her.
"It's snow. Didn't your father tell you about all this already? I'm just asking…" Lars said, as he continued to shiver. Alisa shook her head and dropped the snow. After that she stood up and smiled.
"Let's go, Lars. It's so beautiful," Alisa said, as she began walking again. Lars followed close behind her. He watched the way she would walk, he watched the way she would look around with that cute smile on her face, and the way she would gasp when she saw something she wasn't familiar with. It was clear that he had fallen in love with her.
"You're beautiful…" Lars muttered.
"Lars, what did you say?" Alisa asked, stopping her walking. Lars' cheeks turned a bright red and he quickly looked away.
"N-nothing, let's keep moving. I'm freezing!" Lars walked ahead of her. Alisa followed him, she was curious as to what he had muttered a few minutes ago.
Lars and Alisa walked for two more hours before finding a cave to get into. Right when they entered the cave a blizzard started to form. Lars sat against the wall of the cave and Alisa sat opposite. Lars had his arms wrapped around himself and was shivering violently. "T-this…i-is…r-r-ridiculous!" Lars said, his teeth chattering. Alisa just watched him for a moment before crawling over to sit next to him.
"Lars, are you alright?" Alisa asked, as she put her hand on his shoulder. Lars shakily turned his head to look at her. Once he saw how close their faces were to each other his face turned crimson.
"Alisa..." Lars said, as he continued to shiver. "I'm o-okay,"
"Lars, you're really cold. Maybe…" Alisa wrapped her arms around him and rested her head on his shoulder. This made Lars stop his shivering and to stare at her. He felt warmth radiating from her. She was doing something to make herself get warm and she was hugging him to make him warm. Lars' face was still the color of crimson and he was speechless. Alisa was so close to him. "Are you warm now?" She asked him, as she looked up at him.
"Yes…I am now…thank you…for the warmth…" Lars whispered. They sat there in silence for a moment before Alisa asked him a question.
"Lars?" Alisa asked.
"Yes?" Lars answered.
"What did you say two hours ago?" Alisa asked him. Lars looked into her eyes, still blushing. Maybe he could tell her? It wasn't like she would feel something. Lars sighed and decided to tell her.
"I said that you were beautiful…" Lars replied, blushing even more. He quickly looked away to avoid her gaze. Then Alisa did something that surprised him. She put both of her hands on his cheeks and pulled his face to her so that she would kiss him. Lars couldn't move at first but found himself slowly wrapping his arms around her body and pulling her closer.
Maybe…she feels the same way?
