I pride myself in my education,
And rejoice in the knowledge of what I'm capable of

The waves, a cadence of drums
The sand is a carpet of grains beneath me
As stars shine in the heavens, a celestial light
Gazing down at you, I see that heavenly light reflected.
Pride swells my heart for you, my soldier
I am comforted in your strong embrace,
I bring you into my home, may you rest your weary soul
May the fire of my hearth keep your demons away
In the dawn of mornings light, I cloth you in garments of warmth
From my doorway I watch your retreating back
A quick march sets your pace,
As you go forth to defend my home.
Amazement is my emotion as I watch you work
Your clever mind spilled out onto the canvas before you
Elysian Fields arise, revealing their secrets of magical worlds
My dreams dance forth from you brush,
A phoenix rising from the ashes
A dragon hording its gold
A griffin balancing the scales of truth
What wondrous fantasies come alive.
I am the angel and the demon
I am the saint and the sinner
I am the man and the woman
The child and the adult
