Hatter leaned up against the window, looking out into the night sky of Wondertropolis as the lights flashed below.

"Dad." A soft call came from the direction of the bathroom, and Hatter ventured over to the door.

"What is it, Molly?" He called through the door to his daughter who had locked herself inside the bathroom much longer than she usually did.

"Go get Alyss, quick please." Molly said in a pain-stricken voice that caused Hatter to become frantic.

"Molly, what's wrong?" He knew his voice was growing loud, but he wasn't focused on that.

"You….really don't want to know, dad. Just, please go get Alyss." Molly's voice was also gaining in volume and frustration.

"Molly, what is wrong? Do you need medicine or something?" Hatter racked his brains but came up with no laxatives that he currently had in his medicine cabinet.

"Dad! No, it's not like that! Just trust me when I say that you reallllllllllyyyy don't want to know."

"Oh really, what's so important that I can't handle it?"

There was a long silence before Molly's growl came out the other side of the door, "Do you really want to know?"

"Molly, of course I want to know what's wrong with you!"

"I'm starting my period, that's what the flips wrong with me!"

There was an awkward silence as Hatter felt his face lose its color, "I think I'm going to go get Alyss."
