This story will change point-of-view. Check the diary title to see who is telling the story. It takes place post-Eclipse before Breaking Dawn. Spoilers for Breaking Dawn. I own none of these characters; they are all Stephenie Meyer's creation.

Bella's Journal

"And exactly why am I being subjected to this?" I asked.

"Because, silly, it will make you look gorgeous for your wedding. I'm sure Edward will appreciate the extra effort." I didn't even hear whatever else Alice rambled on about what she wanted to do to me or my precious body. My nerves were immediately at attention when I thought about how I was his soon to be bride. Alice took my hand and led me to the car.

We arrived at a large building. Well, that was an understatement. It was an enormous 10-floor salon with at least 400,000 square feet. The building had to be well styled with an overpaid staff of hundreds, because Alice must think it was the BEST. Not the best for me, or an average human, the BEST. This was where she had gone to prepare for her wedding. Rosalie's. Even Esme's! We had been in the car for an hour to get to Seattle. This place better be pretty darn good.

I must have had a confused expression on my face, because Alice smirked and explained, "There is one floor for every section that needs to be made over. Bathing, Hair Removal, Nails, Lingerie, Shoes, Dress, Hair, Make-up, Packing, and Accessories."

To that I was simply gawking. The wedding was today! At 1:00 in a small chapel between Forks and Seattle, so we were probably leaving a little before 11:00. As we pushed through the gigantic revolving doors, I gasped. Not at the beautiful interior that must've taken hours and hours on end to design, but at who happened to be sitting, smiling, in a plush blue chair.

The smiling face widened when it saw my boggling eyes. "Hi, Rosalie," my voice managed to croak out.

"Hi Bella. I'm probably not your first choice, but while Emse is taking care that the wedding is perfect when you get there, I figured you could need someone to grimace with you who isn't about to literally burst open with glee at any minute."

"Um…thanks…" I said, not sure how to react.

"Ha," Alice laughed. "Thanks Rosalie, I'm gonna go check her in, grab her robe and a pamphlet, would you?"

Rosalie's Diary

Rolling my eyes, I got up to grab a pamphlet. I handed it to Bella. As much as I burned with curiosity and anger—yes anger—I had to be nice to her. It was her wedding day after all. After all, it would be interesting to see how she'd react in the family. I reached for my oversized bag and told Bella I'd be right back.

It was crisp and cool inside the room of white. Or to a human. Or a thermostat. The thermometer clearly read 32 degrees. I searched for the 'S' section and snatched the only one there, promptly a soft silk robe was removed. I handed back to Bella and led her to the elevator. Alice was waiting by the door. Bella would change later.

The clear fright in the girl's eyes was a little scary. What had Alice done? Oh well. As we zoomed up the floors, I prepared myself. It was going to be a long day if I had to deal with someone this petrified and this joyful. Ugh. No, not ugh. Ew. Yes, ew.
