This is my first time uploading a Naruto story here, and first time publishing one in english in a really long while. I'm not english, so please, let me know if you see any mistake I should correct on the story, so I can go on and fix it! ;)
About the story itself, not much to say, really... I came up with this while doing some music meme just for fun, and thought it was good enough as to be shared. I have a few others I might publish if you're interested. ^^

Warnings: Kisame x Itachi. So, yeah, beware yaoi haters!! Nothing that explicit, but maybe you'll see some boy x boy fluff... ;)
Disclaimer: Awww!! I so wish I owned Itachi and Kisame. But hell, I don't! XD The only thing I own is this little drabble here... And Kisame x Itachi fanlisting!!! *lol! shameless promotion... lol! xDDD*

"Do you...?"
Itachi stopped speaking, leaving the shark-nin curious about what he was about to say. Kisame walked over his partner, and sat next to him over the first's bed.
The prodigy understood inmediatly that it was too late to keep his question from coming out of his mouth, as he had his partner complete attention by the time.
"Do you believe in destiny, Kisame?"
"What?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he remained silent, unwilling to repeat the same question a second time. The shark then let his upper body fall confortably on the bed, and then spoke again.
"Destiny, eh? Well... I don't really think such a thing exist. Destiny is just what you make of it, it's determined by the way you want to live your life, I guess..."
"I see..."
Kisame took a siting position again as he heard his partner's whisper. Even though Itachi didn't usually let his emotions show, that was slightly different with Kisame. After been his partner for years, he could tell when something was troubling the Uchiha.
And it wasn't necessary for him to see the slight sadness drawn in the other's eyes to notice something was wrong.
"Ey... Something's wrong?"
Itachi didn't answer, though it's not like Kisame expected him to openly speak about his feelings. So he just hugged the weasel, smiling when he shivered in surprise.
"Don't think about it... If any bad destiny is awaiting for you, I'll kick it off."
Itachi smiled soflty, and aswered his partner embrace by relaxing against his touch.
