Eren Jaeger was chained to the raised pedestal, hated stares focused solely on him. They, the people of the courtroom, failed to listen to anything he said. All they saw was a monster, a titan.
Eyes of frustration burned in his green eyes, he could do nothing to save his own life and now they had set their sights on Mikasa.
'I have to protect her!' Eren thinks to himself gritting his teeth hard and biting the inside of his cheek drawing blood, he jerked his hands behind his back and accidentally pinched his flesh between the cuffs and the pole that kept his in place; however he broke the skin.
Lightning and thick streams filled the courtroom, screams echoed throughout the area; the ceiling suddenly began to crumble and fall. The rumble fell upon some people, while others had pushed themselves against the walls, more had tried and run for the doors but tripped over and got stumped on by others who had the same idea.
The stream and dust settle. The people who was left stared in horror at the giant that was kneeing with it's head was still through the ceiling, one arm was outstretched reaching for the stands, it's hand hovered over Mikasa and Armin.
Everything and everyone was silent, the only movement was bits of falling dust from above.
Then a roared sounded waking them out of the daze they set themselves in, more shouts and screams came and everything was moving once more.
"Eren!" Mikasa yells out to the green eyed monster, "Quick run away!"
Armin grabs her arms pulling her back, "Mikasa are you crazy, running won-"
Mikasa pushed the blond flying backwards, leaping upwards she grits onto one of his fingers and pulls her legs up, with a twist and a spin she had balanced herself upon his hands. Black eyes narrowed and she darted up the arm towards the shoulder.
"Eren! Run! Come on!" Mikasa screams at him, she grabs onto his hair and hits his cheek to get his attention, "Run!" her thoughts were of him, always of him. Ever if she had to made the human race her emery she would be by his side.
A grunt came from the titan and it slowly reached up it's hand shielding Mikasa as he stood up, breaking the further. It did not take long for him to be outside, staring up in confusion at the blue sky.
'Mikasa?' Eren thinks turning the titan's eyes to gaze at the black hair woman, she was pointing ahead of them and telling him to move. Not sure what else to do, Eren began to run, listening to her words. 'Protect Mikasa.' that conviction kept racing through his mind.
