I had written this before Humbug aired and I'm uploading it now. Enjoy!

I don't own NCIS:LA.

December 24th

23:50

The team had finished earlier a case. Someone, once again, had become the evil goblin of the Christmas. But thanks to the NCIS team, he was caught. And they had every right to celebrate as they were doing every Christmas Eve.

The entire office was decorated with Christmas lights and decorations. A long table was on the middle of the room with drinks and snacks. Sam was, once again, telling Callen about his daughter's Christmas present. This year, he had hidden it someplace where the little Hanna wouldn't be able to find it easily. Every year, she was looking all over the house for her present. And Callen as a good friend he was listening his partner. He was really jealous about all the family-holiday thing. He wanted to get married and raise a family. But he had sworn that he wouldn't do it as soon as he found his own. He couldn't possibly raise a kid without even knowing his name. An alphabet letter is not a name.

Kensi, on the other hand, was feeling lonely this Christmas. Her mother had gone to New York and because of the bad weather she couldn't get a flight back home. The last Christmas had been the worst for Kensi. She was away from home, away from her friends and family, to other side of the world and stuck with Grinch Granger and Sabatino. But this year that she was home, she was alone. Or so she thought.

Deeks was more than happy to have his partner this Christmas. It was truly the best Hetty's present last year, but it's not the same to hear your partner, the person you love more than anything else over a SAT phone and see her and spend the holidays, the most wonderful time of the year, with her. Having her close was definitely the best Christmas present ever.

Kensi was at the bullpen talking on the phone with her mum when Deeks approached her from behind. "Don't worry mum. It's not a problem, really. You'll be here before New Year's Day, so it's not a problem. I love you. Merry Christmas." She hung up and turned only to see Deeks. "Hey."

"Hey, how's your mum?"

"She feels bad she is not here for the holidays, but she is okay."

Deeks checked his watch. 23:59:20. He reached his desk, bended and picked up a Christmas paper bag. "Merry Christmas Kens." and he handed her over the bag.

"Thank you." she said smiling and opened it. It was a red T-shirt with a logo in white letters.

All I want for Christmas

is you…

. because I love you!

Tears started coming down her cheeks. The T-shirt was in front of her face so Deeks wasn't actually seeing her, but he could hear her snobs. She didn't try to hide it. She moved the T-shirt down and just looked in his eyes. And he was looking into hers too. He took a step closer to her and another. He put his hands behind her neck and kissed her. He didn't care who was watching them. He just kept doing what he wanted, what he was feeling. And Kensi wasn't actually resisting. She wanted it too. She was waiting for this moment for years. To just do what she feels without carrying what the supervisors would say.

Callen, Sam and Hetty were watching them. Hetty didn't seem to be bothered. Callen looked at her and asked. "You are not going to say anything?"

"These two were born to be together."

This is the season when we forgive people and put them back into our hearts. It doesn't matter who is or why he/she was taken out of our hearts or what he/she had done to us. Forgiving them and accepting them back might work things out.

I wish you everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
