angel looked familiar

Seifer
wakes up from the fifth dream he was having about Quistis that week. He gets
dressed and goes to the balcony to see where was the Garden going next. They
haven't stopped for a few days now.
'Why do I keep
having these dreams? She will never go for a guy like you. Get over her… If
only these dreams would only leave me alone.'
Two days
later I saw you

A couple of
days later Seifer's walking around the Garden and sees Quistis walking towards
him, she's smiling at him.
'She's smiling
at me? Can this be true?'
"Hi Seifer!
I'm really glad you came back." Noticing the surprised look on his face turn
into a genuine smile, she blushed realising she had caused that effect on him.
"I heard you're having the field test in a few days and I wanted to wish the
best of luck." She said looking down, avoiding eye contact, and left.

returned from his field exam victorious and soon received the news he had
passed. He was a Seed.
That night
at the Graduation Ball he was proudly wearing his Seed uniform for the first
time. He saw Quistis at the distance and decided to take his chance. Was he now
worthy of her, even after all he's done. 'Can she now see me with other eyes?'
He walked
towards her, his presence made the Trepies leave, what brought a smile to
Quistis face.
"Quistis,
I… I don't really know if I should say this to you, but, I care for you in a
really special way, like I never cared for no one else before and…"
"Wouldn't
'I love you' be what you're saying in a nutshell." She replied with the
sweetest smile she ever gave to anyone.
Her eyes
gleaming, those eyes he had dreamed of through countless nights. Smiling bright
eyes looking adoringly at him.

middle of the dance floor where the couples danced looking as if they didn't
touched the ground. The eyes of the whole Garden focused on the perfect couple.
He, a
knight. Her, a Queen.
