Hi! How's it going? I came up with this last night, I was like, "Dude! I gotta write this!" Sooooo here it is! This takes place shortly after Casey Jones vs. The Underworld! When I found out that the Shredder could control minds, I almost flipped out! I was like, "No way!" I hope Leo isn' lik OOC... could you please let me know if he is? Ok, ok... I'll stop my ranting now... hehe :D

Leo sat down on the couch in the living room. A steaming and piping piece of pizza dripping to the earth lay untouched in his hand. He watched silently as his brothers joked around, playing a game. (Leo was quite surprised they found anything intact!)
He couldn't believe it... the words sunk hard into Leo like a knife digging into flesh. Yet, right there, in the lab, lay the canaster. The liquid so vile, so, so...
Leo looked down to the ground, watching his toes bend and shake like little worms.
He should have seen it coming... he should have been prepared. With that liquid Shredder could controll anyone. He could change the entire world...
Snapping his head up he looked to his brothers again. All that he loved, all that he cared for: Master Splinter, Mikey, Raph, Donnie, April, Casey.
No! He would not let that happen. He couldn't! If Shredder got to his family he could use his brothers for evil... he could... control them... or him.
Leo's face twisted into that of agony, of pain. He was a great fighter. If Shredder got to Leo he could turn him into a monster.
He could make Leo hurt, or worse, destroy his family. The people he loved. Leo could never bare to look at his family again! The shame would only get worse, turning it's shame into a pain deeper that words, deeper than all pains... of all guilt.
Or what if Shredder made him hurt others. Families, men, women...
NO! He wouldn't let that happen. He would keep his family safe, from all harm. Safe from him if need be.
Leo stood tall, his shoulders straight, his eyes narrowing.
He would be the protector. He would make sure that nothing happened to him or his family. He would be there. For his family, for his friends, for his sensei.
No one was coming in between. No one would hurt them...
