A/N: I know it's a bad time to upload something, but my sister wrote this poem based on the fan fiction New Trials by Wish-chan. I thought I should put it up since it was really good and she's only a 7th grader right now. By the way it's a narrative poem that she had to write as a lit project. :) enjoy
Characters: Sakura and Syaoran (from New Trials)
Theme: Love and Jealousy
In the 21st century,
In the center of Japan,
There was a pretty girl.
She had golden brown hair
With emerald eyes as bright as the stars.
She met a boy who did not care.
From China he came, for he was like an earl. (a/n: Well, Syaoran is rich, but something had to rhyme in this poem)
A fiery temper surrounded him
Along with laughter dancing in his amber eyes.
They did not get along.
Rivals, they became,
For enemies threatened the peaceful town.
By finishing their trials,
Accepting each other came naturally.
Rejection came from her brother,
But both acknowledged their feelings for each other.
The boy, who is now a man, confessed his love.
The girl was surprised for she did not think he would feel the same.
Before she could reply, he left for the sky.
Years went by,
The man came back for he still loved her.
The girl, who is now a woman, welcomed him back.
She told him the truth and his smile became the sun.
Now together with their true love, and they had fun.
Hand in hand, they walked away.
A/N: Hope you enjoy this fresh poem. :) The ending is what my sister is hoping for by the way since New Trials did not end yet.
