"You're so ignorant, Derek Hale!" I yelled at my boyfriend as we stood in total darkness in the woods.

"You're so self centered, Callana Bryn." Derek yelled back at me. I growled in frustration at him when a flash of light shined brightly and blinded us for a split second. I heard Derek groan in pain and fell to the forest floor. I smelt blood coming from his arm. I dropped down by his side and ran my hands down his face.

Raindrops cut paths down my face and Derek's as he swirled me around in the rain before pulling me back into his chest. I pressed my cheek up against Derek's chest and I felt his chest vibrate against my ear as he hummed a song. I felt like I could stay like this forever.
