Hopefully I don't anger the lords of poetry by combing enjambment, haiku, and refrain into one single poem even though this is the second time . A companion poem to "Lonely and Depraved" from Joker's perspective on his life if his conscience ever showed.

Alone and Afraid

Alone and afraid

Secluded from everyone

Constantly weeping

Alone and afraid

I live in the lonely place

Of my darkest heart

Alone and afraid

The tear drops of innocents

Stain my very soul

Alone and afraid

Sadness devouring me

Till' Earth is no more

My life and beyond

Will always be spent being

Alone and afraid
