Edwards family were very welcoming. I was a complete stranger, as I had told them many times, but they protested and told me that I was Edwards soulmate, so I was the complete opposite. They wanted to know more about me. I told them that I had been a vampire for four months, all of my family were dead, my favourite colour was purple and my birthday was November 23.
Now it was the question i knew I had to step carefully around. If I told them I only ate animals, how would they react? They seemed pretty calm.
"What about your diet?" Carlisle asked me.
"I only eat animals. I was a vegetarian when I was human, so i wanted to bring that aspect with me into the vampire world. Even though I know it shouldn't, it just feels cannibalistic when I think of eating humans." I answered. I was nervous for their reaction, but nothing bad happened. Just something a little weird.
"That's amazing! We only eat animals too! It's incredible that at such a young vampire age, with no one to help you, you've mastered it!" The calm and collected Carlisle turned into a different person.
"Does anyone else have any questions I asked them.
"I do: how did you become a vampire?" Rosalie was giving off jealous energy. I guess I was kinda smoking hot.
"Rose!" Esme gave Rose a scolding look and me an apologetic one.
"No, it's ok. I was walking along a dark alley one night in Seattle. Then a vampire came up to me. Riley Biers his name was. He told me I was so beautiful, and then he bit me. He was my first boyfriend. But I left him. I saw that he was a monster, doing anything until he got what he wanted. He massacred innocent humans, just to cause chaos and destruction. And that's how I ended up here, in Forks, with all of you." I explained. They all were looking at me curiously. "Anything else?" I asked.
"One last question." It was Edward. "Do you have any gifts? Special abilities?" He asked.
"I don't know if you'll want me to be in your life if I tell you." I said.
"No matter what it is, we'll be with you. Nothing could scare us away." Esme said supportively to me. I took a deep breath.
"I can shapeshift into any animal. And I can kill... anyone, anywhere. All I have to do is think of them dying, and wherever they are, they just drop dead. Vampires as well. And they can't come back." Now they all were looking at me shocked. Rosalie especially. Well now she knew not to piss me off.
"May we see?" Alice asked politely.
"I guess.Just not here. Let's go in the forest." I started towards the door. They all got up and followed me.
