So, there they were, in the place they called home for so long. It would probably be their last time there together in a while. Yep, Central Perk, that little coffee house on the corner. Who knew that so many memories would form there. They all sat on the overly stuffed orange couch in silence for a long time. No one really knew what to say.
"So, I umm...guess this is the last time we'll have coffee together in a while." Chandler finally spoke up.
"Yeah I guess so..." Ross said silently.
Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe started to cry, giving each other long hugs while doing so.
"I'm really gonna miss you Mon!" Rachel cried.
"We'll call everyday!"
They all gave each other one last hug before Chandler said "Well Mon I guess it's time we get these babies home."
"Yeah...home..." Monica pondered the thought of calling a new place their home. It would be so weird waking up in the morning and not having to cook Joey breakfast, or looking out the window and not seeing Ross across the way doing Yoga in his underwear.
Monica finally said something. "Honey, would it be ok if we stayed a little longer?" she asked.
"Yeah I think that would be ok. The babies are still asleep." Chandler said.
"Well you guys its gonna be weird not having someone to cook me breakfast every morning." Joey said.
"Heyyy what about me?!" Rachel said slightly offended.
"Rach I said cook me breakfast...not offer me a take out menu for breakfast!"
"Haha very funny."
Phoebe started the conversation again. "Do you guys remember the time when you switched apartments because of that stupid bet?
"Ohh yeah" Chandler said. "I still can't believe you guys bet that apartment!"
"Yeah" Rachel began "I can't believe we actually moved! But it was her fault! She made me raise the stakes!"
"Wow Rach calm down I thought we were over that." Monica said laughing.
"Well I've just been keeping it in." Rachel said with a smile.
So there they sat for hours reminiscing about the past that they all shared. That talked about all the funny times when they were all together just having fun. They also talked about all the sad times that they had faced together. They sat on that couch in the place they loved the most just laughing for hours. Just like the good old days. It wasn't until much later that they came back on the topic of Monica and Chandler moving, and that all of their lives were about to change.
"Ok Mon, I really think it's time to get these babies back to the new house and get the set up for the night." Chandler said.
"Yeah, ok you're right."
Everyone got up from the couch. They all exchanged hugs and kisses. Everyone was sobbing and the 'I love you's' and the 'I'll miss you's' were said.
Monica and Chandler started rolling the stroller out of Central Perk. They turned around and took one last look around. They waved goodbye to their best friends, hoping they would see them soon. Then in silence, they left the place that contained so many memories they couldn't even count. But although they were leaving what they had called home for the past 10 years, they were also excited about starting their new life with their children and each other.
Ok Chapter 1 done! Lol. Sorry it was so short, but I thought that would be a good time to end.
