Note: This was written for my best pally Bailee, so it might be a little different. But you can still read it if you want.
Bailee's POV
On Sunday, October 5th, I woke up with a strange impulse. I wanted to go to Atlanta! Of all places I could go to, I wanted to go to Atlanta, just for the sake of seeing the city.
My mom drove me to the Mall of Atlanta, and we browsed a few shops. It would have been a tad more fun if Olivia wasn't still mad that I unplugged the computer last night when she was watching a video on You Tube. Not my fault! Mom told us to go to sleep! And her music is so loud! She doesn't listen!
Eventually we came to the Coach store. I looked around, seeing a few bunches of the usual crowd of glamourous people trying on scarves and such. I walked casually over to the watches and bracelets.
A few yards away, I heard some soft, ringing voices. I instinctively turned around.
Behind me, I saw two girls- one blonde with light gold waves, and one girl with short, black hair. They were examining the boot on the short-haired girl's foot. It was purple suede with a little gold chain around it, and it had a small wedge instead of a heel. I couldn't hear what they were saying, so I curiously walked to the shelf a few feet away, my back towards them.
"I think it's out of season. But then again.." the black-haired girl hesitated.
"Out of season? Who cares? Retro is supposed to be fashionable nowadays." said the blonde.
"Ah, lets just get on with it. I can always find a way to wear it. Or I could give it to Bella." the other replied.
"Not really her style.." Blondie trailed off.
"Hmm.. true, but it's hardly her decision." she laughed at a private joke.
I turned around to face them for the first time. GOOD GOD! They were pretty! They looked like some sort of supermodels airbrushed a million times and then some. They had shiny hair, beautiful pale skin and wide, hazel-ish yellow eyes. They purchased their heaps of clothes and started walking out with 5 shopping bags, some bigger than others. I watched through the glass secretly as they left. I wonder if Olivia noticed these people. They walked out to the bench directly across from the doors and sat down. It took me a few moments to realize there were people next to them.
Maybe they were famous? Was it their entourage? I looked at each of them one by one. First I noted the gorgeous body-guard type guy with curly hair. He had pale skin just like the rest of them. Second, I saw an unBELIEVEABLY beautiful boy with his hands between his face, his elbows on his knees, looking down. I could hardly see his face.
'Oh, look up, bright angel!' I thought. He looked up.
He looked at me for a few seconds before turning to a good-looking, blonde guy behind him and saying something quietly. The blonde girl's brother, I assumed.
The blonde guy laughed quietly. He was sitting next to the angelic-guy on the part where your head is supposed to go. His feet were on the bench's seat.
The body-guard sighed loudly. "Alice. Enough. Lets GO"
Everyone laughed, especially the short brunette, whom I assumed would be Alice. Her laugh was piercing, but in a good way, like piercing eyes. It was chimes.
Then the blonde guy walked towards them from some random direction. Where was he coming back from? Was he not just sitting on the bench?
I also noticed the shopping bags were gone.
Huh. Maybe I was watching for longer than I remembered. I suddenly became aware of myself. They could easily see me through the glass, and I was only a few feet away from them. My face grew hot.
The angel laughed. He said something else to the blonde boy.
I walked a little farther away, embarrassed that they probably caught me. No, embarrassed that they HAD caught me. Darn.
