Hermione found herself bouncing around on her feet as a song echoed through her head. She didn't know all of it. But she knew the one line that kept ricocheting around her skull. The line that had gotten it stuck in her mind in the first place.

She hummed a little bit as she danced around the kitchen. She swung her hips and shimmied around to music that no one could hear.

"I'm so excited" she belted out, "and I just can't hide it!"

She didn't have to hide it. She was excited. She was planning a wedding. She was getting married to the love of her life. She should be excited. If she wasn't there would have been a problem.

After a war. After years of dating long distance. After many fights with Ron over why she wouldn't date him. Viktor had finally asked her to marry him. And she'd said yes.

She danced around, finally turning to the radio in hopes of finding a song to get the one wriggling in her ears out. She wasn't so lucky. Instead the song that she was thinking of came on the radio.

She shrugged at timing. Sometimes it was clear that there were forces in the world at play that she couldn't control. She danced around, belting out what few words she knew as she cleaned up her kitchen.

"Vhat are you doing?" Viktor asked from the doorway to the living room where the floo was.

"Dancing." Hermione flushed. "I may have gotten a little carried away."

Viktor smiled. "There's no reason to vorry. After all, I'm so excited."
