A Fantastic Christmas

"Rise and shine, sleepyheads. It's Christmas morning." Sue Richards, previously Storm, ran through the Baxter building banging on a pot.

"We're up!" Johnny replied, slamming his door.

"Morning." Reed said kissing his wife. She was dressed in a green skirt with a white shirt and a green button sweater. She had an apron on and was checking on the ham.

"Morning." She replied. Reed went and sat down on the couch. Susan watched as Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters came from their room. Ben sat down on the couch that Reed had specially ordered for him. Alicia made her way out to the kitchen. "Good morning and Merry Christmas." Susan said to her friend.

"Merry Christmas to you too." Alicia replied, smiling. "I just wanted to see if you need any help."

"Well, I just checked on the ham, and the other stuff doesn't need to be started right now. Maybe you could help me with the mashed potatoes." Sue replied. Johnny walked into the room. Sue grabbed her brother by the arm. "Right now it's time to open presents."

Reed pulled Sue aside. "Thank you for the pack of boxers and the new lab coat."

"You're quite welcome." Sue replied. She pressed her lips against his. "You know this our first Christmas as Mr. and Mrs. Reed Richards." Sue pointed out.

Reed smiled. "So it is." He leaned in to kiss his wife again but was interrupted by Johnny.

"So, just out of curiosity, how old are you again?"

Sue slapped her brother. Reed sighed. "I already told you, Johnny, I'm 31. Two years older then your sister."

"Got it. As you were." He said, walking off.

Sue smiled. "I think we should do as he says." Reed pressed his lips against Sue's soft ones. When the kiss ended, Sue announced, "It's time for some music."

"Dinner time." Sue called. Her and Alicia had set the food on the table. There was ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, peas, corn, pork gravy, warm biscuits, deviled eggs, cranberry sauce, and pea and macaroni salads. It was a meal served in Alicia's family, so to make her feel more at home, Sue had made them.

"This looks incredible." Reed said, sitting down at the head of the table.

"You've out done yourself, Suzie." Ben said.

"Mom taught you well." Johnny agreed, hungrily looking at the food.

"Speaking of incredible, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible called to wish us a happy and safe holiday." Alicia announced to everyone.

"When do we get to eat?" Ben gruffed.

Susan handed Reed the cutting knives. "When Reed cuts the ham."

"Oh, right." Reed said, getting up.

"Today was perfect." Reed stated. He and Susan were out on the balcony. They were cuddled together on the bench, a blanket covering them both.

"Yeah, everything went smoothly. The only thing missing is..." Susan began. She looked down at her hand.

"What?" Reed asked.

Just then, snow flurries started to rain down like crazy. "I was going to say the only thing missing is the snow, but here it is." Susan said, jumping up.

Reed stretched his neck from all the way on the balcony to the living room. "You guys might want to come out here. It's snowing." Johnny, Ben, and Alicia got off the couch and headed outside.

"Isn't it wonderful?" Sue asked, spinning around.

Alicia held out her hand. Several snow flakes landed on her palm. "It sure is."

"And so the perfect ending for a fantastic Christmas." Johnny grinned.
