Alice was her usual, typical self. Dragging us shopping on a Saturday in May. Apparently she'd had a vision she didn't want to share with me. And she covered it with the excuse of new designer dresses being released today. Rosalie, Jasper, Emmett, Esme, and my sweet Bella were out on a hunting trip while Carlisle was at work. I was walking down the mall's courtyard with Renesmee on my hip. She wasn't even a year old yet, but she looked like a four year old.
" Daddy," She called and I looked down at her. " Pretty!" She exclaimed and pointed to a window. I glanced at the object she was talking about and found a beautiful diamond encrusted, silver heart-shaped locket. " Auntie Alice said Mommy has a special day tomorrow." She told me and I smiled. Mother's day was tomorrow, indeed.
" Would you like to get mommy that?" I asked and she nodded furiously. " Alright, come on." With that, I made my way into the shop with Nessie on my hip.
" May I help you?" The woman behind the counter asked, batting her eyelashes at me.
Let him be single. Please, please, let that little girl be his sister! I suppressed a roll of my eyes and glanced down at my little angel.
" Renesmee, tell the nice lady what you want."
" I want that necklace in the window for my mommy."
" Which one?" The woman asked and Renesmee gestured to the window.
" The one in the window with the pretty sparkly diamonds." I smiled as the woman made her way over to a small cabinet and pulled out an identical replica.
" This one?" She asked and held it up, causing Nessie to nod furiously. " Well, you're lucky, it's on sale today for two hundred dollars." I smiled and kissed the top of my little girl's head as I flashed my black credit card, which the woman scanned and then handed the small box with the necklace in it to Nessie.
" Hold onto it tight, Nessie." I told her and she smiled, nodding at me.
" I will, daddy." She told me and I smiled at her as the woman's thoughts plummeted.
Damn. Why're all the hot guys taken!? She scowled and I smiled a little wider.
Edward? Did you find the necklace? Alice's thoughts drifted to me. " Well, did you find what you were looking for?"
" Yes, Alice. I did." I replied with a sigh. " Are we ready to go?"
" No!" She shrieked. " I found the most gorgeous dress for Bella! You are going to love her in it!"
" Let's get this over with." I murmured and she drug me out with Nessie, leading us to a small store where she made us wait for her.

" Mommy!" Nessie called, running into the room. I smiled as Bella knelt down to her level.
" Yes?"
" I have something for you!" Nessie exclaimed and I smiled at my little girl, who smiled back. Bella glanced at me and I shrugged as Nessie reached into her pocket and pulled out the small box, shoving it into Bella's hand. Bella stared at it for a moment before opening it and gasping. " Do you like it? Mommy?"
" Oh, Nessie," Bella murmured as I suck down and wrapped my arms around Bella.
" Happy mommy's day, mama." Nessie commented as Bella swept Renesmee into her arms.
" Happy mother's day, Bella." I murmured into her ear as she hugged Nessie tightly.
