Chapter One: The News

Archie, Odie, Herry, Neil and Atlanta were smiling at Theresa, who just kissed Jay on the cheek.

Hermes walked in without looking at the seven teenagers, and Hera was walking next to him as she bit her bottom lip. The teens looked at them with confusion. Hermes was looking nervous and like he was feeling uncomfortable, and he sighed.

"Hera, we need to tell Herry and Archie that their parents' have been divorced for a year," Hermes said as he rubbed the back of his neck.

The two heroes' eyes were filled with questions. Why were Hera and Hermes talking about their parents' like that?

Archie was going to place a hand on Hermes' shoulder when Hera gasped. Hermes quickly turned around and saw that Herry and Archie looked upset. Hera sighed and told them to follow her to her office; Hermes waved them goodbye and left. When they were in Hera's office, she gestured for Herry and Archie to sit down.

Sighing once again, she began, "Archie and Herry…like you heard Hermes: your parents' have been divorced for a year. Seven months ago your parents switched partners. They found new love and you can't change anything."

Angrily staring at Hera, Herry said softly, "I just can't believe it. How come we never heard from our parents…?"

Hera said sternly, "Herry. Try to understand that your parents didn't want to hurt you more as it is. Please don't get angry at your parents for this, they just didn't want to hurt you."

Herry and Archie looked at each other, and then looked back at Hera with a weak smile. They were really angry at their parents for having done that to them.

Archie said, "We'll try, Miss Hera. It's not easy to receive news like that…we have to let it sink in."

"Excuse me, is this Mrs. Jordan's office?" a voice has asked, causing Herry and Archie turned around to see Archie's mother, Viviane. Archie looked amazed to see his mother here. Viviane smiled at him and hugged him.

"Mom, I'm happy to see you. I heard you're dating my friend's father now?" Archie asked, and he made his mother sit down. She thanked him and turned to Herry, still smiling. "Ah, here's my stepson. I'm happy to meet you… Herry, is it?"

Herry nodded as he smiled at her. He knew instantly that he'd love his future stepmother. She hugged him as Hera said, "You can spend this weekend with them."

Archie and Herry thanked Hera and they both kissed Viviane on the cheek. Viviane waved goodbye at them. When they disappeared completely from a corner of a hall, she placed a hand on her stomach and said, "I hope they'll be happy that they'll have a little half-sibling."

Friday arrived and Herry was excited to go to the farm. Archie laughed at Herry's face as they were driving up to Herry's house. Viviane was waiting for them in her winter coat and as they got out they closed the door for Herry's truck. Herry locked his truck as he and Archie went to hug her. Viviane smile at them as she said, "Great to see you two! Now, are you hungry?"

"You bet I am," Herry said as he smiled at Viviane. "I'm starving."

Then the three of them walked inside as Herry smelled the food, Archie whispered in his ear to calm down with the food. Herry grumbled as he nodded and then went to eat.

It was 5pm and suddenly a tired sigh was heard. Knowing it was her boyfriend, Viviane went to see who it was. "Alan, I'm glad that you arrived. Archie and Herry are here."

Alan quickly went to see the two boys and as he smiled Herry went to hug him; Archie was rubbing the back of his head. Herry walked over to Archie and he made him get up, "Dad, this is Archie, he's, of course, Viviane's oldest son."

"Ah yes, it's a pleasure to meet my oldest stepson." Alan shook hands with Archie.

Suddenly Archie hugged Alan, and it was so sweet it made Herry and Viviane smile. Alan turned to his girlfriend. "Viviane, did you tell Herry and Archie the news?"

That made Herry and Archie confused as they sat down, Viviane and Alan looked at each other worriedly as they held hands underneath the table. Viviane started, "I know that you guys just heard on Tuesday that your parents were divorced. But…will you guys be happy if we tell you that you'll have a half-sibling?"

Archie and Herry nearly choked on their glass of grape juice as they stared at them in shock. They couldn't believe their ears. Archie coughed as he said, "Mom, are you saying that you're pregnant?"

Viviane and Alan stared at each other and looked back at Archie and Herry. Viviane nodded. Herry and Archie's jaw dropped as their eyes has widened. They nearly lost their appetite but they love their parents. They smiled and Herry said, "You bet that we'll love to have a little half-sibling in the house."

The parents' smiled at each other as they went to hug Archie and Herry, the two boys hugged them back. They each placed a hand on Viviane's stomach as they both said, "I hope we'll have a half-sister."

Alan and Viviane looked surprised, Viviane said with a smile, "Well, I only had boys while Alan had an only son."

In her four months entrance Viviane was having a discussion with Carole in the living room at Viviane and Alan's house. Carole was smiling but was feeling uncertain, "How many months along are you, Viviane? You look about five months."

"No, I'm pregnant of four months. I'll have to talk with Alan when he could have a day off so we can go to the doctor's together, just to see why I'm bigger than my usual month…"

She stopped when she saw Herry and Archie coming in and she smiled at them. Both boys hugged her and kissed her cheek. A fake cough interrupted their moment. They turned and saw Carole smiling at them.

They went to hug her at the same time they also kissed her cheek.

"Mom… how are you doing?" Archie asked with a smile. Archie and Herry already called their step-parents' "mom" and "dad". Carole ruffled her stepson's hair and said, "I am good, thank you very much."

Carole and Lionel are getting married the next weekend and they were already planning their honeymoon. On the other hand Viviane said that she and Alan will marry when she'll be in her sixth month pregnancy. They could wait until the baby can be born but for some unknown reason Viviane wants to be married before the baby arrives.

Alex and Alexis walked in the living room. "Herry and Archie!"

The two teenagers hug tightly their younger brothers and ruffle their hair; Herry said as he smiled to Alex, "So Alex, even if you're ten, do you have a girl in mind?"

Carole slapped Herry in the back of the head, "Herry! You know very well that he doesn't have a girl in mind. Ask him when he's older."

"That's okay, Mom. I know he was just joking with that." Alex smiled and he patted Herry on the arm. It was the same thing with Archie's two younger brothers- they had no problems calling their step-parents' "mom" and "dad". Herry was smiling at his stepmother as he made her sit down so she could relax.

"Thank you Herry," she said, "but I wanted to go rest in the bedroom."

Alex and Alexis were giggling. Carole gave them a stern look and they stopped immediately, Carole looked at the time. "Boys, I think we should leave, I told your father that we'd be back home…before six, if I remember correctly."

"Okay Mom," they both replied and they hugged their brothers, mother and their mother's swollen abdomen gently before they went in the car. Carole smiled as she kissed her son and stepson on the cheek. She hugged Viviane and went to join her stepsons in the car.

Viviane turned to Herry and Archie as she said, "Could you help me stand up? I'm extremely tired right now."

The two boys nodded as they helped her up and into the bedroom, they left and Viviane closed the door behind her and sighed as the baby suddenly kicked. She groaned a little as she caressed her belly a little, "You want to let me know that you're still alive, hey baby?"

Another kick was felt and she patted it with delicately and went to sleep wondering whether she'd have a girl or a boy. An hour later she was awoken by someone opening the curtains. She placed a hand over her eyes, "Who's there?"

"It's just me, honey." Viviane smiled, stating to sit up. Alan helped her up and wrapped an arm around her and she moved closer to him. He kissed her lips tenderly. Viviane smiled as she snuggled against him. She closed her eyes and said, "I can't wait to have our baby. It did its first two kicks an hour ago!"

"That's great, Viviane." Alan had placed his hand on her belly just to feel the baby kick but instead it moved.

He smiled as he kissed her stomach lightly. Then he stood up, helping Viviane to stand and he said, "I think we need to cook for our two oldest sons, don't you think?"

Viviane giggled and said, "Why don't we go get something?"

"Why not, even if it's not healthy for the baby, I'll go get something." Alan said as he opened the door and Viviane glared at him as she said, "You mean we, Alan. I want to go with you."

"Alright, you can come with me but we'll have to ask Archie to keep an eye on the refrigerator. I really have a feeling Herry will take a snack out of the fridge."

"Oh, I have a feeling he won't." Viviane said as Alan placed an arm around her waist, Archie and

Herry were watching television. Viviane said softly to Herry, "Herry… please don't get a snack while me and your father are going to grab something from a restaurant."

"Don't worry Mom, I won't." Herry was sincere about this. Viviane smiled as Alan wrapped his arms around her stomach so she could bend a little and kiss Herry's cheek. "You're a sweetheart, honey."

When Viviane stood up Alan quickly went to whisper in Archie's ear, "Keep an eye on Herry for us. I'm not taking a chance."

Archie giggled and nodded to him, Viviane and Herry looked at him weirdly and Archie muttered a "Nothing."

Then Alan and Viviane left to go get something, leaving Herry's stomach grumbling. As he was going to get up Archie made him sit down again, Herry said, "I'm hungry… oh alright! I'm going to wait."

Ten minutes later Archie was already fed up with hearing Herry's stomach. He just wished his mother and stepfather would come home soon with the food.

"Supper guys!" Viviane called out, smiling. Archie bolted out of his room and went to sit at the table. Herry was already munching away. Alan glared at his son for being so rude but Viviane shook her head and said, "It's alright, dear, he can eat. He's hungry enough."

Then they started to talk as they were eating. Once they were finished Archie and Herry started to clean for their parents. Alan and Viviane were still eating, enjoying each other's company.

Herry guided Archie away from the kitchen after they were done cleaning. They went in the living room to watch some television. Alan and Viviane went to join them afterwards.

One week later, everyone was having a great time celebrating Carole and Lionel's wedding, Viviane and Alan had to leave early because of Viviane's pregnancy. So Herry and Archie decided to join them later. Alan has nodded and said, "I'll stay up…"

"You don't need to, dad. We will manage." Herry was sincere as he winked at his father.

Archie snickered as he said, "Yeah, we'll knock on the window to wake you if Herry doesn't have the keys."

Herry sent him a murderous glare; Alan nodded and turned to his son. "I hope you have the keys to the house, son. I really don't want to have someone knock on the window late at night."

"Don't worry Dad, I won't. I'm sure it will be Archie."

"Herry, be nice to your stepbrother," Alan said with a glare. "You know that Archie never lost the keys for the house- you either but still… I want to make sure."

"Alan, are you coming?" said Viviane as she tapped Alan's shoulder, yawning. Alan smiled at her and kissed her cheek and nodded.

He started to walk a little further but was stopped when Herry's two cousins, Victoria and Maya, hugged him and Maya said happily, "For us, you'll always stay as our uncle- Viviane is welcome to be in our family."

Alan and Viviane smiled as they both kissed her cheek and left, Alan turned quickly as he called to them, "You are more than welcome to come to our house, girls."

Then the girls smiled at Alan, leaving Archie and Herry to go talk to Carole and Lionel. They were thinking of what kind of wedding that their other parents will have in two months.

"Yes. I will," Viviane said as she smiled sweetly at Alan. He stared back at her with a smile.

"Will you, Alan Brishon, take Viviane Rockson as your wife and will love her forever until the day you die?" asked the priest.

Alan leaned his forehead against Viviane's, placing his two hands on her belly and Viviane placed her hands on his hands. "I do. I will forever love her."

"Then you may kiss the bride."

There was no hesitation. They kissed immediately as everyone cheered and then they knew that their life was fulfilled: having children together and getting married.

They're expecting twin daughters in three months and they were really excited to have them, they never had daughters before, only sons with their ex-spouses.

When the photographer asked to bring the children in, the children immediately went in: Herry with Alexis in his arms on Viviane's left side while Archie and Alex were on the right side of Alan. They now know that they are going to be a family. And with their little girls coming, they will make the family complete. Viviane and Alan have thought of doing their honeymoon in New Olympia.

They didn't want to do anything exotic. They wanted something simple, so the only place they thought of was some quality time together in New Olympia. No, it wasn't really a honeymoon but they didn't care. All they care about is that they are together. It was only for a week. They wanted to be back with their sons and feel the warmth around them again.

One day in a hotel room they were relaxing peacefully. Viviane was already thinking about the names for the babies and wanted banana with chocolate. Alan raised an eyebrow as he smiled and nodded; rising up with a hand on her belly Viviane grabbed quickly his arm she said, "After the names for our daughters."

Alan sighed and relaxed back on the bed, wrapping an arm around Viviane's waist, "Have you thought of names, love?"

"There is one name Archie mentioned- and even Herry loves it," said Viviane as she stared into Alan's brown eyes. "Anna. What about that name, Alan? What do you think about it?"

She stared at him with hope and Alan smiled, nodding, which meant he agreed.

Viviane smiled and hugged him softly and Alan suddenly remembered something, "I just thought about a name, what about Patricia?"

"Patricia is perfect, dear." Viviane smiled and suddenly she smirked. Alan was caressing her swollen abdomen, "About that banana with chocolate…"

Alan rolled his eyes, smiled and left the bed to get her banana with chocolate.

Three months later…

"Oh, look how cute they are" giggled Alex as he was stroking Patricia and Anna's cheeks. "Which one are Patricia and Anna?"

Alex seemed to be embarrassed by his question; Viviane was resting in her hospital bed. Alan smiled and showed left to right which one it was. Alex was now nodding as Alexis made faces at the babies. Herry and Archie came in with balloons and a bouquet of roses, smiling. They awed as Herry took Patricia and Archie took Anna.

Viviane smiled. She was happy that it was over. Her water broke while her husband was at work and because her sons were at school she was alone at home. At least she did manage to get Alan on hold- she had already called an ambulance. She told him to join her to the hospital.

She suddenly fell asleep. She and Alan didn't remember how many hours it took to have them but it was a long time. They finally have them and this time, their wishes have been completed: Being married and having their twins is off the list. There is one more wish left but it won't be right now: being grandparents.
