The Ring

A/N: OMG! I cannot believe I miss that episode. I just watch the clip where Gus finds the Ring and this dribble pop up in my mind. He looks so heartbroken when he sees the ring. I wrote this in about ten minutes and this is my first reaction. I'm leaving the ending open ended for Gus's real decision.
I walk away from the hotel guy with Shawn's DS as I heard something shaking in the DS. I try opening up the DS and try to turn on the DS. It didn't go on. I shook it slightly and heard the noise. I hold up to my ear to listen the shaking. I open up the battery panel and my eyes landed on the ring. It was a diamond ring. I slowly pick it up to take a closer look. It was clearly an engagement ring. No wonder he really wanted to find the DS. Wait, Shawn had a ring in the DS. I slowly turn to look at Shawn who was playing around with Jules.
Shawn wants to marry Jules. Shawn wants to get marry. SHAWN WANTS TO GET MARRY. SHAWN! The most irresponsible boy in the world wanted to get marry. What ever happen to that irresponsible boy that could barely hold a job? That child that couldn't keep a girl? What happen to my friend? The Shawn I grew up wouldn't ever want to get marry. As I watch Shawn and Jules. They look good together but… but this… Shawn has grown up. My best friend grew up when I wasn't looking. The boy I knew my whole life is gone. Suddenly I felt alone and so far behind Shawn. I lost my best friend somehow and I didn't even notice. Should I return it to Shawn or keep it? I look down and made my decision.
