Dugan Duck, four years old, is bored.
None of his friends wants to play with him.
He trudges through the rooms.
He stops in the kitchen.
On the fridge there is a full glass of raspberry jam. Delicious!
He has only one wish: to get this glass!
The only problem is: how does he get up there? Although he is not small at all for his age, as a four-year-old it is of little benefit, although he can think like an eight-year-old.
Quickly the little duckling snatches a chair and pushes it to the refrigerator. Then he steps on the chair back. Unfortunately he does not get up there that way either.
So he places himself on the toes.
This is too much for the chair and he falls.
Dugan lands quite impetuously on the ground and even scramps his slightly knee, but he does not cry.
He immediately stands up again and decides to try it another way.
He's already seen it on TV. His uncle Fethry often watches westerns.
"I can do that too," thinks Dugan, looking for a rope, eventually finds it and makes it a lasso.
And now Dugan shows how far he is ahead of other four-year-olds. He throws the rope high into the air ...
... and he manages to catch the jam!
"Cool!" He cheers.
He quickly pulls the lasso down.
Too fast.
The jam glass flies down and hits Dugan!
No, no, do not worry, of course, he survives it.
But the jam does not so.
At least not the glass.
It breaks ...
...and the whole jam pops at the little rascal.
Well, it is definitely clear that he can eat it now.
He heard footsteps.
"Well, there's no place like!" It's without a doubt Fethry's voice!
Fethry steps straight to the kitchen.
When he sees Dugan completely covered with red liquid, he is frightened.
For more than a minute, the adult duck stares at the young one, being shocked
Eventually Dugan asks:
"Unca Fethry... do you want some jam?"
