White Star gripped the ceiling beam with his sword slung over his back. He checked his mission slip again. "Sneak in and assassinate the necromancer," the card read. He silently dropped from the ceiling, behind a guard station. The guard was snoring, grenade launcher still held in his hands. White Star stepped forward... onto a creaky beam. He winced. The guard jerked awake. White Star almost knocked him out (again, it looked like the man had been caught unawares by some alcohol), but then he reconsidered. He could kill the guard, and become Kishin, with great power, but at a cost. He wanted power. He thrust the blade through the guard's heart. The guard cried out, then unraveled, leaving a deep pool of blood on the floor. As the guard unraveled, his bright blue soul became visible. White Star's weapon gulped the soul. "Mode... smoke bomb." said White Star. "Yes, sir," said his weapon. All that White Star left behind was smoke, and the dying echoes of maniacal laughter.
