Usagi pounded against the door, "Let me out! I don't want to be stuck in here with him!"
"Not until you kiss!" Rei yelled back.
Usagi leaned back against the wall, "Guess I'm stuck here forever then," she mumbled under her breath. Sighing, she wondered how she let herself get roped into this.
"I don't want to be here any more than you do, odango-atama," Mamoru shot at her.
"I don't know why I even came to this stupid party!" That wasn't true, she had come in hopes of ending up in the closet with Motoki not Mamoru. She should've known the chances were slim that she would end up with Motoki when she decided to play the game. But, as usual, she hadn't thought things through.
"They can't keep us here forever," Mamoru told her,"So if we don't kiss, they have to let us out,"
There was a faint "No we don't," heard through the closet, Rei. Usagi sighed once more, why did Rei have to be so stubborn and mean? Couldn't she just let them out? Of course not.
"Fine," Mamoru called back, "Look, as much as I hate to say it, we might just have to kiss," he whispered to Usagi.
"No way!" she shouted, then lowering her voice said "That would be my first kiss," she confessed.
"Oh come on, there's no one around to see our mouths meet intimately, it won't count," he offered
"If my fist meets your face intimately and there's no one around to see it, do you still have a concussion?" Usagi threatened.
Mamoru just laughed. "Okay odango-atama, we don't have to kiss, but I don't see what else we could do,"
Usagi looked around, until she had to admit he was right. They were stuck in Motoki's closet until they kissed. Or someone opened the door. And Rei definitely wasn't letting anyone open that door.
"So," he drawled "how about you tell me about yourself,"
"Um okay" she stuttered, when did it get this hard to talk to him? "What do you want to know?"
He thought for a moment, "How about your hobbies? Those are always good for breaking the ice,"
"Well, I like eating, napping, and playing the Sailor V game," She also fought evil monsters by moonlight, but she couldn't say that. "How about you?"
"Hmm," he considered what to say, "I read, study, and go for runs," he responded.
"That doesn't sound like any fun," she said, quirking her eyebrow.
"Well it is," Mamoru shot back heatedly.
"Oh, sorry," she said meekly.
"It's fine," he said rolling his eyes.
They sat in silence for a few moments, each one avoiding eye contact.
"So, are you sure you don't want to just kiss me and get out of here?" he joked.
Usagi sat up and knocked on the door again. "Rei-chan, let us out!" she whined. "I don't want to kiss him!"
"Gee thanks odango-atama. You know I thought you were done with that,"
"I thought I was too, until I remembered we were supposed to kiss!" she cried, possibly shattering Mamoru's eardrums in the process.
Mamoru grabbed Usagi, "Look do you want to get out or not? I'll just kiss you on the cheek," he said over the crying.
Usagi sniffed as Mamoru leaned in to kiss her, "Huh?" she mumbled, and turned her head.
Their lips met. In shock both teens just sat and stared, lips locked, when the door to the closet swung open.
