Welcome to the stage of history, where people engage each other in battle for many reasons. Whether it is for glory, revenge, or personal reasons, there is always a reason. In this tale, swords are the primary weapon of choice for many a warrior, granted a few exceptions. In this world, there are three magical and all mighty swords, Soul Edge, Soul Calibur and Soul Vengeance. Our tale begins with a young lad named Alexander Knight, who in his journey to acquire Soul Vengeance to avenge his parents death, will meet new friends, new enemies, and even learn while on the way. Shall we begin?
Alexander was born in London, England and the son of their greatest war hero, Jason Knight. Jason was famous for being a skilled warrior in the battle field using his famed Flame Blade, a sword that could burst into flames at any given moment. Far more efficient than any gun the army could offer. He and his partner, and best friend Lance who fought with a twin blade style, were the two most powerful warriors in England. Jason and his wife, Sophia, decided to retire from the army life and leave it in Lance's capable hands. Soon after, the English army fell to Russian invaders and Lance was forced to retire as General of the Army. Jason was once again summoned into battle to defeat the Russians. Reluctantly, he decided to go ahead and fight. That night, he explained to his son that if he didn't come back, that he was to watch over the world, become a hero and save all those in need. Alexander was only 8 when he came. Alexander went to his parent's room after having a nightmare but what he would soon see was far worse than any nightmare. A giant man with an axe jumped through his parent's window and slaughtered them both, right in front of his eyes. Paying no attention to the boy, he jumped back through the window and fled far away from eye shot. After that, Lance, as his godfather, was left in charge of the boy, but Lance had to leave the country on his own business so he left the child in an orphanage for the next ten years of his life. At 18, he moved out of the horrid place with little funding and where he was never even glanced at by potential parents. The cruelty of the place had left him cold and bitter; he went back to where his parent's mansion was and looked desperately for his father's sword. When he finally found it, he had the mind to kill himself, until the fire busted from the sword! His anger was fueling it! He had found an escape for his anger, and swore revenge on his parent's killer. He ventured out of England to find a sword that had been spoken of in the orphanage, Soul Vengeance. The kids would often talk about who they would kill. It was in an area in Northern Europe called "The Alter."
This is where Alexander's tale begins!
