She was stranded. Freezing wet and stranded. Without a coat. Sighing she slid her phone out of her pocket to call Troy Bolton, her boyfriend. But before she could use her phone, a car came racing down the road at top speed. They did not move out of the way when they saw a puddle but went right through it. Gabriella was soaked instantly, she sniffed as she wiped water from her eyes. She then phoned Troy.
"I'm going to be late," she sighed
"What's happened?" asked Troy
"I'm stranded in Albuquerque no money no coat," said Gabriella
"You walking?" asked Troy
"Yeah," sighed Gabriella
"See you in a bit," said Troy and he hangs up.
"Well he could of offered to come get me," Gabriella thought bitterly
10 minutes later Gabriella was only a quarter of her way to Troy's when an Audi A5 pulled up besides her.
"Need a ride ma'am?" asked a guy in a southern drawl
Gabriella recognizing the voice turned and smiled.
"Why yes thank you kind sir," she giggled her mood immediately brightening.
Gabriella slid into Troy's car and was meet by a blast of heat.
"Let's get you home and dry," smiled Troy as pulled away from the curb and headed homeward.
Once home Gabriella shrugs of her coat before running upstairs to strip and take a short hot shower. 5 minutes later she emerges into the steam covered bathroom and wraps a white fluffy towel around her body and another around her hair.
Meanwhile down in the kitchen Troy is preparing chicken noodle soup, a soft white roll and hot chocolate for his frozen lady.
Once Gabriella has dried and dressed in a pair of warm pyjamas she and Troy snuggled up in their double bed under a double sheet duvet with a furry blanket. Troy had brought Gabriella's food up on a breakfast tray and slotted Crazy Stupid Love (Gabriella's current favourite film) into the TV. The tray now rested on her legs as she leaned against Troy who was sat against the headboard with a leg either side of Gabriella.
Against the wall in front of them was the chest of drawers and placed on that was a TV. There gaze lingered on this but as soon as the soup and hot chocolate were finished the couple soon fell to sleep and Crazy Stupid Love played into the night.
