Sadie's POV
Ah, nothing beats a miserable rainy day than watching Twilight and moving through bagfuls of Mint M&M's. The movies are rubbish as always compared to the book, but Jaz is borrowing my set, but as of right now, I'm too lazy to go ask a random shabti to fetch the book, so I downloadedit on iTunes and grabbed my candy stash and bean bag and turned it on.
Even though he isn't a god, Edward reminds me so much of-
"WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER, STAND A LITTLE TALLER..."
UGH! I thought as I paused the movie and picked up my phone as Kelly Clarkson's voice filled the room. As I read the caller I.D, my heart decided to occupy my throat as I taped the answer button.
"Sadie, how are you?" came a cool male voice on the other end.
"Anubis, you jerk!" I rasped into my cell "I texted you over an hour ago saying not to contact me because I'm watching a flippin' movie!"
"Oh." Anubis sounded hurt and suprised. "If you just want me to call you later-"
"Forget what I said, jackel boy!" I hissed "Just tell me already-"
"Do you want to go out with me tomorrow?"
All my anger instantly evaporated. My mouth opened and closed until Anubis said "Sadie?"
I said something intellegent like "Uh-huh?"
Anubis sighed. "I'll pick you up at 5:30. Wear your grubbiest clothes, and bring a change of clothes." Then he hung up. I ran out of room, screaming my head off. I needed to find Zia.
My movie can wait.
