Link was fishing at Lake Hyrule. So far he had caught nothing.
Hearing a familiar, yet distant, sound Link turned his head to the right to see the postman running toward him.
The postman never came this far unless it was special delivery. And since he was the only person out here, it was safe to say the letter was for him. Perhaps a message from Beedle about a new item in his shop, or a item from someone he saved.
Link stood up and bagged his item, moving towards the postman to speed up the delivery.
The postman gave his speech, then handed Link his letter. He then turned and ran off.
Link looked at the strange letter, unsure of where it came from. It had no text, just a strange circle with a plus of sorts placed in the lower left hand corner in the upper left side of the envelope.
Link opened the envelope and took out the letter, which he then read. And reread. He narrowed his eyes, then called Epona.
He soon was ridding past fields of grass as he headed to the place the letter told him to be.
Link angled his boat to Tingle's island, the remake of the King of red lions.
He cut some grass before he noticed the dancing mailbox. Moving closer it told him he had one letter (which meant he wouldn't have to pay).
The letter was spate out at him, but for the first time he caught it rather then letting it smack him.
He opened it too see at the center top was a circle with a plus of sorts placed in the lower left hand corner. Realizing quickly what it was, reading it quickly.
He briefly wondered why he Tetra's ship would be empty, before hurrying like the letter said.
Authers Note: As 'Link' first appears early in the games I tried to add some hints that he may not know what Super Smash Bros. truly is. BUT as he makes many appearinces I tried to be carful of certain game specific traits (like how Epona is called) so it can be taken to be about the diffrent games.
And I don't think young Link really counts. Sorry to young Link fans, but Toon Links the same thing with a boat.
And at the end of Wind Waker, there was a second King of red lions. SO I say he must have been remade for Toon Link (but this one is not alive).
